May 4, 2011: Happy Birthday, Ma!







We started the day off with going to St. Luke's Medical Center, so that dad can have his radiation therapy scheduled for next week. Around seven years ago, he was operated on because of a brain tumor. A part of it was left (because it was too dangerous to remove completely) and it started growing again. But it is small only so he's going to undergo radiation, which is less intrusive. The risk is low, so we're not that worried. Just the financial aspect though. Gahhh.

Yes, what a way to start my mom's birthday.

Mom's birthday usually is spent shopping, and yesterday was no exception. Hahaha! I didn't get to buy anything though. I covered my lens with semi-transparent cloths (I don't know what they were called) ala filter in the last two pictures while waiting.
