April 1, 2011: SPCP Recognition rites

To be fair, the complex has some visible progress. I graduated in there two years ago, and my little sister as well last year, with it having no paint and less floors. Anyway!

It seems like I have reached the age wherein I am left with the responsibility of accompanying my little sister to school affairs, and in this case, her recognition rites, in the absence of my parents. My older sister has a part-time job (hooray!), so I'm the next in line. Well dad was with me at first, but he left me alone anyway at the convention hall.
I had nothing better to do, but what else --- take pictures.Well, mom went anyway (and got off from work for the morning) because she wanted to pay for my sister's tuition for the next school year. And to buy her books. And as well as new uniform.
Sir Macky! When I was about to enter the Convention Hall, he was the one at the door. He said to me, "Viguilla?" Awww, so touched that he remembers me.
Mrs. Sumo! Too bad I didn't get the chance to talk to her. I saw a couple of other teachers that I wanted to talk to but I wasn't provided with the opportunity. Huhu.
So.. that's my sister! She got two awards from her GIFT class, one for GIFT excellence and the other for leadership. Funny thing is, she didn't even know she was a leader! Hahaha.
It has been two years since I've stepped out of SPCP. So many things have changed... like how the corridors are painted pink and green (personally, the combination's an eyesore) and how they have vendo machines now (which dispenses pale-tasting drinks according to my sister, and which I kind of proved earlier this day when I got a hot chocolate drink that didn't taste like one). I miss this school that I've attended for 14 years of my life, but I'd rather keep the image of SPCP from the past in my memory.
