I'm a big girl

Because I got through my worst hell week ever alive, I'll be posting overdue pictures now. Yay!

February 22, 2011: Solo Adventure to Parks and Wildlife

So I went to Parks and Wildlife alone two weeks ago to take pictures. Alone because Roxy was being a poser that she had to do stuff in the library, and it was Kim's mom's birthday that afternoon. I couldn't get coapps to come with me, because it was still ISO week.

I had nature plates to work on for Film 110 and my environmental poster for my Econ 172 project to do, so I was really happy that I get to do both at once.

I brought my FSLR, DSLR, and my new lens! Imagine my paranoia as I was in the jeep going to and from there. But taking pictures inside was fun. I didn't feel lonely even though I was taking pictures alone, probably because I did what I loved doing. Hihi.

I think I'm in love with nature photography. Hihi.

Philippine Eagle! This is the closest picture I can get of it because it was resting on the high high part of the tree.

This one is standing with only one leg.

My childhood didn't include visits to parks or zoos that much, so I felt like a child this time. Not that I'm saying I'm old now. Haha.

What I'm going to say is unrelated to the picture, but it was here that I realized dating in parks was still "in". Hahaha. Though I'm not in a position really to judge.
