Happy Holidays?
Second weekday into the Christmas break and I've been wasting time like I've never before. I wake up for breakfast, take a nap, wake up again for lunch (if I had a choice, I'd start my life from here), lie down on the bed while abusing the internet, have dinner, abuse the internet some more, and if I get tired of that, watch the television until midnight. My mind is rotting from this unproductiveness... if there is such a word.
With the two weeks I have for this break, I have to do... stuff. Like read the chapters for Econ 172, because two months into the second semester, I've done nothing but laze around. Then again, that's what I do every sem. And for this subject alone, the cost of my procrastination is to read nine chapters of the economics of pollution. How interesting.
Another is the ever-postponed BA 180.1 report on Internet Governance. We'll be reporting the first Wednesday we come back to reality.
There's also the photoshoot I have to do with June and Yane for the IRIS (new members --- including us!) exhibit on January to March. We were told to redo our photoshoot along with another group, because our pictures, to put it in the words of someone, were pangit. Then after realizing that that was put bluntly, he changed his word of choice to unsatisfactory. Anyway, we plan to meet up on Thursday for a trial shoot. Trial, because we still don't have a model, and we plan to play with our concept first. I hope all goes well.
Lastly (lest I have forgotten other important to-dos), the sigsheet for OBEM that I want to finish. Out of my four priorities over the break, this is the only one with progress. I've come to the conclusion that I am more of a hands-on person rather than a thinker. I also have to convince people to buy planners from me, and that the best photographs are in black and white. So far, I've convinced 6. Not bad since the batch of applicants only need to sell 10.
