Enrollment I

The process of enrolling at my university is the ultimate test of patience. Yesterday, I went to school at around 8:30AM, only to see a really loooong line of registrants. I had no choice, so I still got my place in line along with Roxy (who went with her boy, hihi). By 11:30AM, we were 4 seats away from that magical door where our papers would be processed so that we could finally pay our tuition.

While it seemed that our waiting had finally come to an end, the registration assistants went on their lunch break. So they just had us sign this priority list, so that once they resume at 1PM, we'll still be in that position.

So we went for lunch as well. We tried Delish at Maginhawa (I wanted to try Combi, but the tricycle driver couldn't find it. Oh well.) The honey-garlic chicken I got tasted great, and it was just worth P90. Yay~ I got to try Roxy's beef something, and it was so tender! We got stuck at that restaurant for quite some time because for some reason, the waitress couldn't give our bill immediately. We also had to wait for a tricycle and ride the jeep for us to get back to Econ at around 1:20PM.

The line moved already, and we missed our spot. I tried talking to the RVC person, saying that we were on the priority list, but she said that I was late yadayada and so we had to get to the end of the line. Wth. There was no way I would wait again in that line. We were just late for 10 minutes (they started late, I heard) and we had to pay for that by waiting for another 3 hours just to get near the door?! No thank you.

I got dad to fetch me, and I went to the mall with my sisters. (The younger one had planned a meet-up with her barkada, but only one of them ended up coming, and they looked like they were having a date. Haha.) Ate and I ate at Pho Hoa (fresh spring rolls!), looked for clothes (ate graduated this sem!), bought a pair of sandals (which we end up sharing), and had a dessert at Haagen Dazs (blame my sister). Then we went to Makati to fetch mom, and had dinner at Mom and Tina's.
