We went to the precinct around 10:30AM and waited for three hours just to vote. With that kind of system, anyone would be discouraged to cast their votes. The hot weather even worsened the situation. But we got past that!

Probably with more PCOS machines and better preparation for the next elections, there would be less problems as compared to the numerous complaints voiced out today.

As I follow the partial and unofficial results, I'm terribly disappointed with how Filipinos vote. Erap is coming in second for the presidency (following Noynoy, who I also do not approve of, but I will not go into that). It is sad that Filipinos never learn. After electing him as president, facing and proving corruption charges against him, and eventually removing him from power through the second EDSA Revolution, he still has a possibility of reclaiming the presidency this time around. It is truly shameful for the Philippines if he wins this elections.
